Visited Krishna eye centre for my mother's checkup Mrs. Yamuna kanade for a comprehensive eye checkup and have done her checkup from Dr. Purnima Arbhanad must say doctor was very professional and helpful throughout the checkup and my mother was further advised a cataract surgery. The procedure from the initial workup to the doctors consultation and to the counselling was very smooth and i had further planned the cataract surgery and the surgery procedure was also smooth and painless and very rapid the after care from the staff of Krishna eye center was very good. Dr. Purnima counselled excellently

I visited KRISHNA EYE CENTRE for cataract surgery on both my eyes and pterygium surgery on my left eye as well as Ectropion surgery on both lower eyelids. I attended several consultations with the nurses and Dr Purnima before the procedures to assess the state of my eyes. The Ectropion surgery was done first and went very well taking two hours. During the recovery afterwards I was given a small meal and something to drink which was very welcome. By the time all was done it was so late that most people had left the clinic and the lights were out! This surgery was very successful and a great improvement on the first one on my left eye which was done in Zambia a year ago. Thank you to Dr Vidyashankar and his team for the work they did on my eyes which have been red and unsightly for several years. The sutures were removed after ten days. It was then decided the cataract surgery should go ahead. My left eye which needed pterygium surgery as well as cataract was done first. Afterwards my vision in that eye was blurred because of a slight swelling, I was given medication to correct this and assured my eye would stabilise in a few days. The cataract surgery on the right eye was scheduled the day after the left. I was nervous about having it done because I am alone here in India and completely unfamiliar with the outcome so I was concerned I would end up unable to look after myself. However Dr Sonya kindly agreed to see me and she assured me I would be able to see straight after the procedure. So I went ahead and Dr Purnima and her team did the second surgery. I was astounded when I reached recovery and found that I could see absolutely perfectly. Today I have come for review and I have told everyone how happy I am that I went ahead. I am amazed at the clarity of my vision and I can read without glasses. Thank you Dr Purnima for the wonderful job you did. I have been visiting the clinic on and off for nearly two weeks. I have got to know reception staff and nurses well and I feel they are now my friends. Thank you for looking after me so well and a special mention to Shubangi for insisting on explaining all I needed to know about the eye drop regime I must follow. Thank you everyone
