Our next story is a reminder for every single person in the medical profession, how gratifying a single routine surgery can be. A 90 year old patient, scared of hospitals and surgery, walked into an ASG hospital branch and met Dr. Pratyush Ranjan. And that day yet again, everyone realised that a doctor has to be many things, a friend to the patient’s family, a counsellor to the patient themselves, a mentor to his fellow medical professionals and an astute surgeon with a strong resolve. But we forget, they’re sons or daughters or parents or brothers or spouses too! Watch how an otherwise stoic, astute surgeon transforms while narrating this story. Happy 20 to all of us at ASG, the inevitable success. #JustGettingStarted
